A lot of people have asked what the difference between a full newborn session and a petite session looks like so I thought I would explain what to expect with a full newborn session and share with you one of my favorite full sessions.
What to expect.
A full session will get you 2-4 bucket/basket set ups and 2-4 poses on the bean bag. Harder poses (froggy pose and chin on hands) take longer and more patience so the number of poses depends on baby and on what poses you would like me to do (not all poses are a guaranteed) . Also siblings will count as poses, so in comparison to this session, if this baby is your first you will have more poses included in your session. During the 3-4 hour full session most babies will require two feedings, once at the beginning and once in the middle when I switch up my set ups.
So here is a recent full session. This sweet boy wasn't the easiest I have ever worked with but not the hardest either, so I consider this to be the average amount of images/poses for most newborn sessions. Some babies do better giving me more poses and set ups and some babies will have a harder time giving me fewer images (my sweet girl was one of the hardest babies I have ever worked with so it does happen).
